You can help Old Colony and other local Habitat for Humanity affiliates provide decent, affordable housing for low-income families, while having a great outdoors experience at the same time! You can hike any of four pleasant trails at Blue Hills Reserve, while others hike at Mt. Monadnock State Park in New Hampshire.

Register to be a hiker on one of the above dates, and collect sponsoring pledges from supporters of Habitats ongoing humanitarian mission. Youll be recognized as follows:

Teams: A team can be up to 10 hikers. A team registration form must be submitted, and there must be a team captain. This is a great way for a school, church, a group of friends, business or club to participate!

Entry Level: Fee/pledge total: minimum of $25 per team member gets a certificate of completion and individual recognition mementos for qualifying team members.
Goal Makers: Fee/pledge total: $750+ gets a custom event T-shirt with team name for all members (must pre-register and pay minimum of $750 by May 1 to have team shirts at hike) and certificate of completion. Qualifying team members can also receive a knit shirt.
Pace Setters: Fee/pledge total: $1000+ gets a deluxe event T-shirt with team name for all members (must pre-register and pay minimum of $1,000 by May 15th. to have team shirts at the hike) and a certificate of completion. Qualifying team members can also receive knit shirt.

1. Register with Old Colony: June 7, 2008 or June 8, 2008
2. Call 508-226-8833 to sign up.
3. Print the Pledge Form
4. Get Pledges: Ask friends, relatives, work associates or businesses to sponsor your hike for a given amount. Have them contribute cash, or a check made out to Old Colony Habitat for Humanity.
5. Come to the Mountain and enjoy the Hike! Bring the contributions and Pledge Form for collection at the registration table at the hike site. There will be a silent auction of neat stuff as well.
